Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG: Magnificent Monsters brings together brand-new cards, alternate artworks, foil upgrades, and the return of many popular cards from across the history of Yu-Gi-Oh!
One of the main highlights of the set is 18 brand-new “reimagined” anime cards, inspired by iconic cards used by the heroes of the first six Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series. These include new versions of cards connected to Yugi, Jaden, Yusei, Yuma, Yuya, and Playmaker.
All 18 reimagined cards are available as standard Ultra Rares, while special Extended Art versions can also be found as Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare cards.
Magnificent Monsters also introduces the completely new Grand Master Rare rarity. These extremely rare cards feature special hieroglyphic borders and individual serial numbers from 001 to 100. Grand Master Rare versions are limited to the 18 reimagined cards, making them some of the rarest collectibles in the entire set.
The set also includes 20 additional new or variant art cards, including new artwork for popular cards such as I Masquerena and S Little Knight, as well as 10 special “chibi” variant art cards.
You can also find 6 brand-new Boss Monsters, featuring new versions of popular monsters across different Special Summoning types, together with 40 cards receiving a foil version for the first time. Another 40 popular cards return as reprints.
